The James L. Knight Center is located in Downtown Miami and well-connected by public transit, close to major highways, and a short ride from Miami International Airport (MIA) and PortMiami.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
  • Take I-95 North or South
  • Continue on I-95 (N or S) until EXIT 2-A (Biscayne Blvd.)
  • At the end of the exit ramp, there is a traffic light
  • At traffic light, make a right-hand turn onto SE 2nd Avenue
  • After making the right-hand turn, make another quick right and the Hyatt Regency Miami will be on your left along with the James L Knight Center

PARKING OPTIONS

  • Self-Parking 
Miami Tower, located at 100 SE 2nd Street, Miami, FL 33131, is the closest parking lot operated by the Miami Parking Authority. Self-parking at this location has a discount rate of $20. Upon entering the hotel’s drive, continue to the right and take the next right into the James L. Knight Center/Miami Tower Garage. Take the parking garage elevators to the Ground Floor, which leads to the Miami Tower lobby. From there, access the James L. Knight Center and Hyatt Regency Miami via a covered, air-conditioned walkway. Upon entering the James L. Knight Center, you will arrive on the first floor, where the Riverfront Hall and Hyatt lobby are located. Follow the wayfinding signs that lead you to the event registration accessed via the escalators.

ADA accessibility is via the elevators on the Hyatt Hotel lobby to the third floor.

  • Valet Parking 
Valet parking is available and located to the left at the entrance of the Hyatt Regency, upon entering the hotel drive. Once inside the James L. Knight Center, you will arrive on the second floor, where the Riverfront Hall and Hyatt lobby are located. Take the escalators that will guide you directly to registration.

ADA accessibility is available via the elevators in the Hyatt Hotel lobby to the third floor.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

  • Tri-Rail or Brightline and Metromover: Take Brightline or Tri-Rail to MiamiCentral Station. Walk to the Wilkie D. Ferguson Metromover Station where the free system will take you to the Knight Center Metromover Station by either the Inner Loop or the Outer Omni Loop. Take the escalator down to the Tower lobby. Turn left off the escalator and proceed to the James L. Knight Center/Hyatt Regency via the air-conditioned, covered walkway.
  • Metrorail and Metromover: Take Metrorail to the Government Center Metrorail Station. Proceed downstairs to the free Metromover’s Outer Omni Loop for the most direct route to the Knight Center Metromover Station. Take the escalator down to the Tower lobby. Turn left off the escalator and proceed to the James L. Knight Center/Hyatt Regency via the air-conditioned, covered walkway.
  • Metrobus: Several bus routes stop within walking distance of the James L. Knight Center serving the areas of Downtown Miami, Brickell, and Wynwood.

ADA ACCESSIBILITY

  • ADA Accessible Parking: The James L. Knight Center is fully ADA-accessible. Take the elevator in the Hyatt Hotel lobby to the third floor.
  • ADA Drop-off/Pick-up: If you use a wheelchair, walker, cane, crutches, or have limited mobility, the best drop-off location is the Hyatt Regency Hotel valet ramp. Once inside, ask any event staff member and they will connect you with the ADA Coordinator for assistance.
