2022 SMART Trends Transportation Summit
On June 3, 2022, the Miami-Dade TPO hosted the 2022 SMART Trends Transportation Summit which brought together local and state elected officials, as well as federal transportation partners and industry representatives. The Summit facilitated focused discussions on current trends and transportation issues, along with emphasis on policy, programs, and funding. With the transition of the Miami-Dade County SMART Plan to the SMART Program, discussions included investment in SMART transportation infrastructure for the future economic growth and mobility of the region, especially as it relates to Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) developments.
